Hutchinson Island is on the coast of Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties in Florida. The island is typically referred to by its north (St. Lucie) and south (Martin) regions, with the small northern tip of the island that extends into Indian River county called by the name "Orchid Island". You may hear the southern part of the island is called "Stuart Beach".
